Israeli TV: We Will Not Withdraw from Syria and Areas Near Damascus
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Mayadeen, Israel’s Channel 14 stated that the regime will never retreat from Syrian territory, including the Golan Heights and areas near Damascus.
The report noted that signing military agreements with syria could enhance security for residents in northern occupied palestine.
Israeli state television also mentioned the presence of Russian, kurdish, and Turkish forces and also the construction of a new US base within Syria.
It is worth noting that since attempts to overthrow Bashar al-Assad’s regime, Syria has become a battleground for foreign actors aiming at its fragmentation. Israel has exploited the control exercised by groups allied with Jolani in Syria to carry out hundreds of airstrikes against various parts of the country and conduct ground operations in southern Syria.
