Russia: No New Negotiation Plans with the U.S. on Ukraine

Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, told reporters that Russia is not negotiating any new plan with the United States concerning Ukraine, according to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Anadolu Agency through Mehr News Agency.
Peskov denied claims about a new US government proposal to end the war in Ukraine. He said, “There are no new developments I can inform you about. Previous consultations took place in Alaska, and beyond that, there has been no further progress.”
earlier, the American website Axios reported that anonymous officials from both Russia and the US claimed that former President Donald Trump’s administration was working on a new plan to end the conflict in Ukraine.
Commenting on Poland’s decision to close Russia’s last consulate in Gdansk, Peskov said: “Relations with Poland have completely collapsed. This act reflects that collapse. The move demonstrates Polish authorities’ desire to reduce all diplomatic ties to zero.”
