Hezbollah: Prominent Jihadi Figure Targeted; All Possibilities Open

Mahmoud Qomati, Deputy Head of Hezbollah’s Political Council, condemned the recent Israeli attacks on Lebanon, affirming that there is no alternative but steadfast commitment to resistance. He emphasized that continuing thes aggressions is intolerable.
Addressing when a response will occur,Qomati said enemy statements hold no significance for them. The leadership will assess the situation and make necessary decisions accordingly.
Qomati added that Hezbollah is coordinating with the Lebanese goverment to halt Israel’s violations in order to preserve Lebanon’s security and sovereignty.
He described today’s attack on Dahieh as crossing a new red line and signaled it reflects a U.S. green light for escalating strikes.
Qomati revealed that a prominent jihadi figure was targeted in today’s strike; his identity will be announced in due course. He noted all possibilities remain open following this attack and leadership will decide on an appropriate course of action.
This latest assault, he said, proves once again that any agreement with Israel is futile since the regime has no intention of honoring any deal. He called new negotiations pointless time-wasters, reaffirming their reliance on the army, people, and resistance to confront Israel’s incursions.
Qomati asserted that since the U.S. supports Israeli occupiers, it lacks legitimacy to participate in ceasefire monitoring committees.
