Nabih Berri Reveals Most Dangerous Aspect of Zionist Attack on Lebanon
Lebenese Parliament Speaker nabih Berri emphasized that the most alarming element of the recent Israeli regime attack on hara Harik is that it has once again placed Beirut’s southern Dahieh district back into Israel’s target zone.
Berri described this development as extremely dangerous, highlighting that there is no real guarantee to protect the capital adn its surroundings. He warned that the enemy sees no limits and continues its aggressions against Lebanon.
He added that the nature of this recent assault suggests a potential escalation of tensions by Israel in the future.Meanwhile, there is no serious intervention from the “Mechanism Committee,” which oversees ceasefire monitoring in Lebanon, to contain these attacks.
Expressing surprise at recent remarks by Lebanese official Samir Geagea, Berri cautioned that Israel exploits Lebanon’s fragile internal situation to pursue its actions and manipulate Lebanon’s internal divisions for its own benefit.
The parliament speaker noted that some inside Lebanon and beyond are upset with the army because it has taken a firm stance against involvement in conflicts with Lebanese citizens.
Regarding parliamentary election law discussions, Berri stated that until now, only the existing law applies. He called declaring urgency for the draft law presented by the government a clear scandal. he emphasized election law as a essential statute-one for which urgent procedures do not apply.
