Russian Defense Industry Ready to Ramp Up Ammunition and Weapon Production

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Sergei Chemezov, CEO of the state-owned Russian company Rostec, told TASS news agency that Russia has multiplied the production of many types of ammunition and weapons several times over recent months.
He added that output for many products has increased by multiples or even dozens of times. For example, since the start of military operations in Ukraine, the production of artillery shells has risen tenfold. Simultaneously occurring, rocket system ammunition output has grown more than twelvefold.
The Rostec CEO emphasized that if necessary, the company is prepared to further boost weapons and military equipment manufacturing.
This proclamation comes as former U.S. President Donald Trump proposed a 28-point plan aimed at ending the war between Ukraine and Russia. Under this plan,Kyiv would cede part of its territory to Moscow in exchange for security guarantees and agree to limitations on its military capabilities.
The European Union and other Ukrainian allies have reacted negatively to the U.S. proposal, describing it as granting Russia’s demands. The White House maintains that Trump’s plan reflects both parties’ positions and safeguards their interests.
