Drone Attacks and Armed Clashes Escalate in Southern Syria

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights⁢ has reported a surge ‌in drone strikes and armed confrontations in ⁢Suwayda province, located in southern Syria, according to the English⁣ section of webangah News Agency,‌ citing​ Al-Mayadeen.

Yesterday’s clashes on the atil-Salim route north of Suwayda involved drone attacks and heavy ⁢machine gun fire.One Syrian ‍civilian was killed and five others were wounded during these incidents.

During ​an attack by armed groups on a ‌checkpoint held ⁤by elements affiliated with Joulani forces ‍in ‍Suwayda, one ⁤militant was killed and two others were injured.

Additional fighting occurred‌ along the⁢ border between Daraa and suwayda provinces.Several other drone​ assaults have‌ also been‌ recorded ⁢across Suwayda recently. Furthermore, Joulani-affiliated forces attacked protesting Syrian civilians yesterday, drawing significant⁣ attention.

It is vital​ to note‍ that since ‍the overthrow⁣ of ⁣Bashar al-Assad’s ⁣regime, stability has not been restored throughout ⁢Syria.
