Drone Attacks and Armed Clashes Escalate in Southern Syria

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has reported a surge in drone strikes and armed confrontations in Suwayda province, located in southern Syria, according to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Mayadeen.
Yesterday’s clashes on the atil-Salim route north of Suwayda involved drone attacks and heavy machine gun fire.One Syrian civilian was killed and five others were wounded during these incidents.
During an attack by armed groups on a checkpoint held by elements affiliated with Joulani forces in Suwayda, one militant was killed and two others were injured.
Additional fighting occurred along the border between Daraa and suwayda provinces.Several other drone assaults have also been recorded across Suwayda recently. Furthermore, Joulani-affiliated forces attacked protesting Syrian civilians yesterday, drawing significant attention.
It is vital to note that since the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, stability has not been restored throughout Syria.
