Trump Announces Reduction of Ukraine Peace Plan to 22 Points

According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and TASS, U.S. President Donald Trump told reporters the original peace plan was a conceptual framework and a roadmap.
He added that from the initial 28 points, they have now narrowed it down to 22. Many issues have been resolved positively.
Earlier, The Guardian reported that Ukraine managed to revise the U.S. peace plan by removing some unacceptable demands and reducing the number of points from 28 to 19.
Last week, news emerged that Washington had presented a 28-point peace initiative which faced criticism from some of Kyiv’s European partners. On November 14, the United States and Ukraine held consultations in geneva regarding Washington’s peace proposal.
According to Ukrainian media reports, U.S. and Ukrainian delegations have agreed on most points of the plan. Remaining disagreements are expected to be addressed at a meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.
Dmitry Peskov, Kremlin spokesperson, said Tuesday that Russia views Ukraine’s initial peace plan as “reasonable” and considers it “a suitable basis for negotiations.”
