US Intervenes in Iraq’s Internal Affairs Through Trump Envoy
According to the English section of webangah News agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn Al-Maalomah, Abdulrahman Al-Jazaeri, head of Iraq’s National Tribal Movement, emphasized that the United States is trying to impose conditions on Iraq through Mark Saveya, former president Trump’s envoy.
He added that Saveya has presented 13 conditions aimed at securing US interests in Iraq.
Ibrahim Al-Sarraj, an Iraqi political analyst, also stated that the US intends to interfere in Iraq’s internal affairs through Saveya, especially amid the process of forming a new government.
Al-Sarraj noted that US interference is not new but said it will never reach the level of influencing the selection of the next prime minister as this issue is under the control of the parliamentary majority faction.
