Israeli Helicopters Fly Over Beit Jann; Death Toll Rises to 13

Syrian sources report israeli helicopter flights over the ​town of Beit Jin near ⁣Damascus, along with the entry ‍of tanks and ⁢military vehicles into the area,⁣ amid rising casualties from attacks by occupying forces.

According to the English⁣ section ⁤of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News agency,⁤ Syrian Alikhbaria reported that⁣ Israeli army helicopters⁣ are flying over​ Beit Jin,‌ a town in the Damascus countryside.

The Syrian outlet also reported that two Israeli​ tanks and four military vehicles have entered Beit Jin’s outskirts near Damascus.

At the same time, Syria’s Relief ​and Rescue ​Association stated that emergency teams remain unable to enter ‍Beit⁣ Jin to assist the wounded.

The ⁤organization explained that occupying forces continue targeting any movement ⁤at the entrances‌ to this area, preventing rescue groups from accessing it-a situation that endangers civilian lives.

A reporter for Syrian Alikhbaria confirmed 13 peopel‌ were killed and 25 injured following an Israeli attack on Beit Jin.

In⁤ the early ⁤hours of Friday ⁤morning, a ​group⁤ of‌ Israeli soldiers entered Beit Jin town.

This time, unlike previous incidents, local youth resisted the Israeli incursion. In a surprise counterattack, six soldiers were seriously wounded; bloodstains​ remain visible in the streets.

The Israelis ⁤abandoned military vehicles during their retreat. These vehicles were ‍later destroyed ‍in an airstrike.
