Foreign Actors Oppose Defusing Time Bomb in the Region

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Maalomah via Mehr News Agency, Mokhtar Al-Musawi, an iraqi MP, emphasized that some countries are obstructing the dismantling of Syria’s Al-Hol camp due to political agendas tied to their regional interests.
He added that the al-Hol camp acts like a ticking time bomb in the Middle East because it holds terrorist elements from over 30 different countries. It represents an intelligence operation involving multiple national agencies aiming to create a new generation of terrorists in the region.
Al-Musawi stated,”We are witnessing the largest concentration of terrorists worldwide at this camp. Iraq’s security is also affected by the presence of Al-Hol. The camp currently houses around 30,000 people, most of whom are ISIS members and their families.”
