Foreign Actors Oppose Defusing Time Bomb in the Region

An ‌Iraqi parliamentarian ⁣warned about obstacles posed⁢ by certain​ countries in dismantling ​the Al-Hol ​camp in syria.

According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al-Maalomah via⁣ Mehr News ⁢Agency, Mokhtar⁣ Al-Musawi, an iraqi MP, emphasized⁣ that some countries ​are obstructing the dismantling of Syria’s Al-Hol camp due to ‍political agendas tied ‌to their regional interests.

He added that ​the al-Hol camp acts like a ticking time bomb in the​ Middle East because it holds terrorist elements from ⁣over 30 different countries. It represents​ an intelligence ‍operation⁣ involving multiple national agencies aiming to create a new generation of terrorists in⁣ the region.

Al-Musawi stated,”We are witnessing‍ the largest concentration of terrorists worldwide at this camp. Iraq’s security is ⁢also affected by the presence of ⁢Al-Hol. The camp currently houses around 30,000 people,⁤ most of whom are ISIS ‍members and their families.”
