Terrorist Attack Foiled in Moscow
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Russia Al-Youm, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) stated that it prevented terrorists’ plan to attack major gas transmission lines around Moscow.
The report indicates that Russian security forces thwarted this terrorist operation, which was reportedly orchestrated by Ukraine’s intelligence service.
One individual was arrested while attempting to plant a homemade bomb during a nighttime operation in the Serbukhovo area of Moscow.
The FSB said that, under orders from Ukrainian intelligence, the suspect intended to create an opening above the gas pipelines where the bomb would be placed. Following the operation,he planned to leave Russia and return to Ukraine.
