Israeli Forces Raid Areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem

Jenin governorate in the northern West Bank⁢ along the Jordan River witnessed an Israeli ⁣military raid, ‌sparking clashes between occupation forces ⁣and Palestinian youths.

The English section of webangah News Agency reports that, according to Al Jazeera and Mehr News Agency, intense⁤ confrontations erupted in the village of ⁢As-Sila al-Harithiya west of Jenin after Israeli forces entered and deployed tear gas ‍and stun grenades. In the village of⁤ Bir al-basha south of⁣ Jenin, several homes were raided, while military vehicles patrolled multiple southern⁤ and western towns within⁢ the governorate.

Raids Extend ⁤to Other West Bank Areas

In tubas city on Sunday evening, israeli troops arrived in Aqaba village with​ several ​military ⁢vehicles and conducted house searches.

Medical sources reported that three Palestinian youths were wounded ​after being beaten at the Tayasir checkpoint.

The home of⁤ a Palestinian detainee was ​also raided⁢ in this ⁢village as soldiers​ established ‌positions around the area.

In Salfit Governorate,Israeli forces stormed Marda village,searching houses ​without any arrests reported. This village has faced frequent raids alongside blocked entrances for some time.

Israeli troops additionally​ closed secondary roads connecting Zawiya and Biddya villages.

Near ⁣Ramallah, settler groups‍ launched attacks around Al-Mughayyir village.

Palestinians Wounded in Occupied Jerusalem

In occupied Jerusalem on Sunday evening, two Palestinians near the separation barrier by​ Al-Ram village were shot ‌by Israeli soldiers. One ⁣sustained facial injuries;⁢ another ‌was wounded in the knee. Both were transferred to medical facilities. This came amid an army incursion into Al-Ram ⁢accompanied by a notable ⁤military presence throughout ‌the area.

Reports indicate‌ that nearly daily incidents occur where ​Palestinians are ⁣injured​ near the⁢ barrier while attempting to cross into Israel. ⁢Since October 7, 2023-the start date of intensified conflict​ linked to Gaza-Israel has prevented Palestinian workers from​ returning ‌to ⁢their⁤ jobs inside Israel.

The General Union of palestinian workers stated that since October 7 until October 28 last year alone, 44 ⁣workers have ​been killed by Israeli fire while over 32,000 have ⁤been detained attempting to cross ​the wall illegally during this period.
