US and Israeli Officials’ Talks on Syria Escalate into Tension

An American media outlet reported tensions in discussions between the US and the israeli regime over Syria.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Saudi arabia’s Al Hadath network, the US news site Axios revealed that Tom Barrack, former Trump envoy for Syria, and other US officials held “tense” talks with their Israeli counterparts regarding developments in Syria.
A US official told Axios that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu risks missing a “very notable diplomatic opportunity” if attacks on Syria continue.
The report adds that several US officials criticized Netanyahu’s involvement in Damascus affairs as “entirely unhelpful,” stating his governance’s strikes inside Syrian territory undermine efforts to reach a security agreement.
