Ansar Allah: Hadramawt Incidents Are Aggressors’ Effort to Fragment Yemen
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Almasirah via Mehr News Agency, Hizam al-asad, a member of Ansarallah’s political office in Yemen, emphasized that recent incidents in Hadramawt, other southern provinces, and occupied areas represent an explicit attempt to divide Yemen’s influence and national wealth among mercenaries of the Saudi-Emirati aggression under direct cover from the United States and United Kingdom.
In an interview with Almasirah network, al-Asad stated that on-the-ground realities confirm that so-called Emirati brigades, Giant Brigades (Al-Amaliqa), Saudi brigades, and “Homeland Shield” are merely mercenary formations operating under a unified agenda. their goal is to loot resources and seize control over Yemen’s strategic geographic positions.
The senior Ansarallah official explained that the UAE focuses on southwestern coasts as well as areas in Aden and Shabwah. Simultaneously occurring, Saudi Arabia seeks to expand its influence over Hadramawt and Al-Mahrah while preventing Abu Dhabi from encroaching into its zones of control.
Al-Asad added that US and British presence in Al-Mahrah, Hadramawt, and other occupied regions confirms extensive foreign interference dominating decision-making there. The deteriorating public services, worsening living conditions, and security collapse across southern Yemen reflect a multifaceted occupation managed by Washington-divided between Abu Dhabi’s and Riyadh’s interests.
He noted that Riyadh aims to achieve its goals through its field forces while presenting itself as a neutral mediator. after signing a roadmap agreement-citing developments around the Red Sea conflict zone and Yemeni support for Gaza-the Saudis delayed implementing their commitments. This has sparked new tensions in Hadramawt as they seek to evade their obligations.
Al-Asad asserted that bloodshed in Hadramawt stems directly from efforts by Emirati- Saudi mercenaries with no connection whatsoever to Yemeni national interests or people’s welfare.

The real goal has been territorial conquest alongside dividing Yemen’s wealth-all supported militarily,politically,and through intelligence backing by Washington for these plans.
He outlined how divisive projects pushed via national dialog conferences combined with military operations along with economic-security breakdown aimed at creating realities enabling Riyadh-Abu Dhabi split tactics-and turning people from occupied regions into mercenaries serving foreign colonial agendas.
al-Asad insisted today’s events across occupied areas reveal full-fledged occupation whose nature grows clearer daily.He affirmed Yemeni popular awareness coupled with steadfast resistance fronts suffice to defeat all external conspiracies-and return Hadramawt plus other occupied territories back into the homeland’s embrace.
