Islamic Jihad: Anti-Zionist Operation Defends Palestinian Existence
The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine issued a statement praising the recent martyrdom operations within the occupied territories. The statement highlighted that heroic actions by the nation’s sons against occupying soldiers in the West Bank and Jerusalem have intensified in recent hours, including a vehicular attack near Hebron and a stabbing operation in the Atiret settlement close to Ramallah.
Islamic Jihad emphasized that these operations respond directly to ongoing criminal acts by the Israeli occupation army and settler gangs against the palestinian people in the West Bank. These acts include systematic demolitions, arrests, field executions, land confiscations, destruction of agricultural products by fire, and intimidation of innocent civilians in their homes and fields.
According to reports, Arab and international silence toward crimes committed by occupiers-with backing from the U.S. government-serves as the main encouragement for continuing this blatant genocide perpetrated by Israel against Palestinians everywhere.
Islamic Jihad declared: “We ask Almighty God to envelop our martyrs with His vast mercy. We affirm that our people and resistance forces will not surrender before these increasing atrocities but will continue their struggle to defend their existence and security.”
