Trump Envoy Steve Witkoff Meets Putin in Moscow to Discuss Ukraine Peace
Steve Witkoff, a representative of Donald Trump, has arrived in Moscow to meet with Vladimir Putin to discuss resolving the conflict in Ukraine. The meeting, confirmed by Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, took place at 5 PM Moscow time.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian sources report that Steve Witkoff, an envoy representing Donald Trump, has arrived in Moscow to discuss resolving the Ukraine conflict with Vladimir Putin.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced that Putin and Witkoff met at 5 PM Moscow time.
Earlier, on Wednesday, Yuri Ushakov, the Deputy President of Russia, stated that several American officials would accompany Witkoff to Moscow.
The senior negotiator for the U.S. President previously expressed optimism in an interview regarding the prospect of implementing a peace plan for Ukraine, which could positively impact American trade relations with both Ukraine and Russia.
