Israeli Military Activity Reported in Southern Syria Near Quneitra

Syrian sources report increased Israeli military movements in southern Syria, specifically near Quneitra, involving vehicles and personnel carriers entering several towns and villages.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Syrian sources have reported new movements by the Israeli regime in southern Syria. Seven military vehicles and personnel carriers belonging to the Israeli army entered the town of Bir Ajam and the village of Ruwayhinah in the central Quneitra countryside.

The sources indicated that a group of Israeli soldiers patrolled north of the Kudna Dam near Ain Ziwan in the southern Quneitra countryside. Yesterday, a SANA reporter in Quneitra reported that occupying soldiers, using personnel carriers and Hummer vehicles, entered Tel Abu Qubais, located in the countryside of Ain Ziwan village in the southern Quneitra countryside.

Earlier, Israeli soldiers had moved towards the village of Saida al-Hanout and the outskirts of al-Duwaya al-Gharbi in the southern Quneitra countryside. Since the collapse of the former Syrian regime, the Israeli regime has launched extensive attacks on Syria and recently bombed areas of Damascus, allegedly in support of the Druze.

Since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, the Israeli army has crossed the buffer zone between the occupied Golan region and Syria to continue occupying areas near Golan in the provinces of Daraa and Quneitra.
