U.S. and Russia Hold Fruitful Talks on Ukraine Crisis in Moscow

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a meeting between a U.S. delegation and Russian President Vladimir Putin concluded after five hours of discussions in Moscow. The U.S. delegation was led by Steve Witkoff, Special Representative of President Donald Trump.
Kirill Dmitriev, Special Envoy of President Putin, characterized the talks held at the Kremlin as productive.
Prior to the meeting in Moscow, the American delegation met with Ukrainian officials in Florida. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio described those earlier discussions as fruitful, while also emphasizing that further work remains to be done.
President Trump unveiled his 28-point plan to address the Ukraine crisis several weeks ago, sparking extensive discussions among European and American officials. The proposed plan includes controversial provisions, such as the potential cession of parts of Ukraine to Russia.
