South Africa Hotel Shooting: 11 Killed, 24 Wounded in Pretoria

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, South African police reported that 11 people died and 24 were wounded after gunmen opened fire at a hotel in Pretoria early Saturday. The incident occurred when armed individuals targeted a group of people inside the hotel.
Athlinda Mathe, a spokesperson for the South African Police, stated that ten victims died at the scene in SolsVille, west of Pretoria, while another succumbed to injuries later. Among the deceased were a 3-year-old child, a 12-year-old, and a 16-year-old.
The police spokesperson added that several individuals were shot, with 14 hospitalized for treatment. Their conditions are currently under medical evaluation.
Authorities reported that the incident took place around 4:30 a.m. local time when three armed men entered the hotel and fired indiscriminately at a group of men. The motive for the shooting remains unclear, and no suspects have been apprehended as of yet.
