Macron to Meet UK, German, and Ukrainian Leaders in London Amid Escalating Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he will travel to London on Monday to meet with key European leaders to discuss the escalating situation in Ukraine.
Macron stated on social media platform X that Russia is trapped in a strategy of escalation and not seeking peace. He strongly condemned the recent widespread attacks on Ukraine, particularly targeting its energy and railway infrastructure.
The French President asserted the need to continue applying pressure on Russia to compel it to seek peace. He plans to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz to review the current state of affairs and ongoing discussions within the framework of American mediation.
Macron emphasized that Ukraine can count on unwavering support from its allies. He highlighted the collective efforts undertaken in the coalition of the willing and affirmed that these efforts would continue in cooperation with the United States to provide Ukraine with the security guarantees necessary for a strong and lasting peace. Macron stressed that the security of all of Europe is at stake in Ukraine.
