Lavrov: U.S. Patience with Europe ‘Running Out’ Amid Ukraine Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has announced that Russia will respond to any foreign troop deployment in Ukraine or confiscation of Russian property.
Lavrov emphasized Russia’s readiness to react to such actions. He also noted that President Donald Trump is not inclined to lift sanctions against Russia; in fact, he is increasing them.
According to Lavrov, Russia and the United States agree on continuing the peace process in Ukraine. He criticized the European Union for what he described as political blindness, falsely believing it can defeat Russia.
Lavrov asserted that the formation of a multipolar world is an inevitable historical trend. He accused Europe of obstructing the path to peace in Ukraine, adding that the United States is losing patience with European positions.
Addressing the shift away from the U.S. dollar, Lavrov stated, “We didn’t abandon the dollar, but we were forced to because it has become a weapon in the hands of the United States.”
