Hamas Blames Israeli Delay for Worsening Gaza Humanitarian Crisis

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas released a statement asserting that the Israeli regime’s procrastination and non-compliance with ceasefire obligations, particularly concerning humanitarian protocols and preventing the entry of essential materials, have intensified the suffering of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
The statement highlighted the vulnerability of displaced persons as winter approaches, noting that damaged tents and temporary shelters are inadequate to withstand cold weather, thus deepening the humanitarian crisis.
Hamas emphasized that the “criminal enemy” bears full responsibility for the dire conditions in Gaza, which stem from the deliberate obstruction of shelter materials and the exacerbation of suffering for hundreds of thousands of displaced individuals facing the winter season with inadequate shelter.
The organization urged mediators and guarantor countries of the ceasefire agreement to exert immediate and direct pressure on the Israeli regime to ensure the entry of all necessary materials for Palestinian housing. Hamas also called for the Rafah crossing to be opened in both directions, following the terms of the agreement, to preserve the dignity of those affected.
The statement called on Arab and Islamic nations, as well as governments and peoples worldwide, to increase their mobilization and solidarity with the Palestinian people, pressuring the Israeli regime to halt its ongoing violations and fulfill its obligations under the humanitarian protocol. This would enable the Palestinian people to begin the reconstruction process.
