Trump Seeks Meeting with Egyptian President El-Sisi Amidst Netanyahu Visit

President Donald Trump expressed his desire to meet with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, calling him ‘a friend,’ as reports circulate about a potential trilateral meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during Netanyahu’s upcoming visit to Florida.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, President Donald Trump indicated on Thursday his interest in hosting a meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.

Trump mentioned that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has requested a meeting with him in the United States, although formal arrangements are still pending.

Referring to the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, signed in October 2025, Trump stated, “We achieved a great success, and that is peace in the Middle East.”

He added that a meeting with Netanyahu would likely take place in Florida.

Responding to a question about the possibility of meeting with President El-Sisi, Trump said, “I would like to meet with El-Sisi; he is a friend of mine, and I want to host him.”

These statements come amid reports of Washington’s efforts to arrange a trilateral meeting between Trump, El-Sisi, and Netanyahu, potentially coinciding with Netanyahu’s visit to Florida in the coming days.
