According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Ukraine‘s military intelligence service has claimed responsibility for an attack on a Russian oil tanker in the Mediterranean Sea. The agency released a statement asserting the operation targeted the vessel in international waters.
The statement highlights the unprecedented nature of the operation, claiming it was executed over 2,000 kilometers from Ukraine’s borders. According to Kyiv, the tanker began its voyage in Egypt and was identified north of Libya, placing it a considerable distance from Ukraine.
Moscow has not yet issued any statement regarding the alleged attack.
