Venezuela’s Maduro Tells Trump to Focus on U.S. Domestic Issues Instead of Interfering Abroad

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro criticized U.S. President Donald Trump for focusing on Venezuela instead of addressing America’s social and economic challenges, urging him to prioritize domestic affairs.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro called on U.S. President Donald Trump to shift his attention from foreign interventions to America’s pressing domestic issues. Speaking on Tuesday, Maduro stated that Trump would have been a better president if he had addressed U.S. social problems instead of fixating on Venezuela.

Maduro noted that 70% of Trump’s speeches and remarks revolve around Venezuela, questioning where the concerns of the American people and job creation fit into his agenda. He emphasized that Trump should focus on his country’s internal affairs while Venezuela manages its own.

The Venezuelan leader also pointed out that the U.S. public has voted against endless foreign interventions, regime-change wars, and military adventurism. Maduro reiterated Venezuela’s readiness for respectful and peaceful dialogue, stressing that a president cannot effectively manage their own nation by obsessing over other countries.

Addressing allies in China, India, and Europe, Maduro highlighted favorable conditions for investment in Venezuela.
