According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck southeastern Taiwan on Wednesday. The quake, which occurred in the Taitung region, was recorded at a depth of 11 kilometers.
Taiwanese sources confirmed the seismic activity but have not yet reported any casualties or significant damage. Authorities are assessing the situation as aftershocks remain a possibility.
