Iran’s Alleged Spy Gains Access to Israeli Military Chief’s Office and Secure Command Center

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israel’s Kan network revealed that a suspect accused of espionage for Iran had several meetings with Eyal Zamir, the Israeli military’s Chief of Staff, and performed maintenance work in his office. The individual also entered a secure command center at the Kirya military headquarters.
Zionist media previously reported that Israeli security services detained Vadim Kobianov on charges of collaborating with Iranian intelligence and filming near the residence of former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. According to the indictment, Kobianov carried out various financially motivated tasks, including documenting shopping centers, recording prices, purchasing SIM cards for tourists, and installing a car camera to transmit live footage of Bennett’s residence. His case is currently under review at the Lod Central Court.
In recent years, multiple espionage cases involving senior Israeli officials have surfaced. This latest incident has heightened concerns about Israel’s internal and external security, demonstrating that threats can access sensitive facilities through unexpected channels.
Iran has repeatedly obtained Israeli military and security intelligence through various means, from gathering classified data on equipment and bases to infiltrating high-ranking officials’ offices and command centers. Security analysts believe these achievements have significantly strengthened Iran’s intelligence capabilities and strategic planning in the region.
