Israeli Forces Intensify Attacks in West Bank and Gaza, Palestinian Sources Report

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Palestinian sources have reported continued attacks by Israeli forces in the West Bank and Gaza. The mayor of Qabatiya, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank, told Al Jazeera that Israeli troops raided the town, damaging infrastructure and cutting off electricity in several neighborhoods.
He stated that the occupying army has completely sealed off Qabatiya, preventing Palestinians from entering or leaving. A local school has been converted into a military barracks and detention center. The mayor added that forces raided multiple homes, conducted searches, and detained dozens of civilians for on-the-spot interrogations.
Israeli military radio confirmed a full movement ban in Qabatiya. The escalation follows a retaliatory attack by a Palestinian youth from Qabatiya, which killed and wounded eight Israelis in Afulla. Simultaneously, Israeli forces have increased operations at the Ein Sinia checkpoint north of Ramallah in the West Bank.
Medical sources also reported two Palestinians shot and wounded by Israeli forces in northern Gaza, with one in critical condition after being hit in the head.
