Lavrov Condemns Israeli Officials’ Threats Against Iran as Deeply Concerning

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed grave concerns over Israeli officials’ threats to use force against Iran in the future. In an interview with TASS, Lavrov emphasized that despite Iran’s nuclear facilities being under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the unprecedented 2025 attacks by the US and Israel on these facilities were a blatant violation of global norms.
Lavrov firmly condemned the attacks, stating they were completely at odds with recognized international standards and ethical obligations. He criticized European countries for exacerbating tensions in West Asia, suggesting that stability in the region does not serve their interests. The minister lamented that certain members of the international community, particularly European nations, are only fueling further conflict.
The attacks by the US and the Zionist regime on Iran’s military bases and nuclear facilities earlier this year prompted a strong response from Tehran. Iran has warned that any miscalculation by its adversaries could lead to a more devastating retaliation.
