UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer Calls for Enhanced European Defense Cooperation

Starmer highlighted that this perspective is not only supported by U.S. President Donald Trump but also by other global leaders.

The Prime Minister affirmed his government’s commitment to increasing defense spending but stressed the need to go beyond financial measures. He pointed to initiatives such as the European Union Defense Fund as key areas requiring further examination.
