Turkey Condemns Israeli Decision to Annex West Bank Territory

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a stern statement on Sunday, fiercely criticizing the Israeli regime’s sustained expansionism in the occupied West Bank.
The official declaration from Ankara stated, “We condemn Israel’s recent decision to impose its sovereignty over the occupied West Bank and the expansion of its settlement activities.”
The Turkish Foreign Ministry further emphasized that the escalating expansionist policies, driven by Israeli leadership, are actively weakening peace initiatives across the region and inflicting damage upon the viability of a two-state solution.
This condemnation comes as the Israeli regime’s cabinet moves toward approving a plan that would bring sections of the occupied West Bank under the direct control of Tel Aviv. This maneuver is reportedly part of a broader Israeli map aimed at formally annexing portions of the West Bank into occupied territories.
Should this plan be implemented, significant swathes of land in the West Bank would fall under Israeli occupation. Reports indicate that the Israeli regime is attempting to frame this move as a legitimate procedure while simultaneously attempting to obscure its fundamentally expansionist character.
