North Korea Unveils New Nuclear-Capable Rocket Launcher

Images released from the event show Kim Jong Un overseeing a mobile rocket launcher, surrounded by thousands of individuals waving North Korean flags. The official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that he personally inspected the launcher vehicle and its weaponry. Kim Jong Un emphasized that the 600mm rockets of this system, double the size of those in typical multiple launch rocket systems, are capable of firing short-range ballistic missiles. This display of military might signifies Pyongyang’s advancement in both defensive and offensive capabilities.
