US Ambassador Claims Israel Has Divine Right to Rule Middle East

U.S. Ambassador to the occupied Palestinian territories, Mike Huckabee, asserted in a controversial interview that Israel possesses a divinely ordained right to control the entire Middle East, citing religious texts.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Ambassador to the occupied territories, Mike Huckabee, has controversially claimed that Israel has the right to conquer the entire Middle East based on Jewish religious texts. These remarks were made during an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson.

Carlson, referencing the Book of Genesis in the Old Testament which describes a divine conversation with Abraham regarding the bestowal of lands “from the Nile to the Euphrates,” raised the issue of the Zionists’ purported borders. The American journalist inquired of Huckabee whether he agreed that Israel has sovereignty over territories encompassing present-day Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and parts of Saudi Arabia and Iraq, based on the “Nile to Euphrates” scope.

Huckabee responded positively to the idea, stating, “It would be very good if they [Israel] ruled over everything (the entire Middle East).” He further elaborated that these assertions are rooted in religious interpretations and divine promises made to Abraham.

In recent months, Tucker Carlson has been a vocal critic of Israel and U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East. He also reported that moments after his interview with the U.S. ambassador in Tel Aviv, he was detained for questioning. According to Carlson, Israeli authorities confiscated his passport at Ben Gurion Airport and escorted him and his companions to an interrogation room.
