Former UK Ambassador to U.S. Arrested in London Over Epstein Links

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, London’s Metropolitan Police have undertaken an unprecedented action by arresting Peter Mandelson, a former Business Secretary and previously the UK’s ambassador to the United States. The arrest is reportedly linked to allegations of misconduct in public office and connections with Jeffrey Epstein, the notorious American trafficker and sex offender.
The veteran Labour Party politician is accused of transferring information to Jeffrey Epstein during his tenure as Business Secretary. In connection with these allegations, two properties belonging to Mandelson have been searched by the police.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police stated that a 72-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office and transferred to a London police station for questioning. This arrest followed the execution of search warrants at two addresses in the Wiltshire and Camden areas.
