Omani Foreign Minister Meets Iranian Counterpart in Geneva to Discuss Nuclear Deal

Oman’s Foreign Minister met with his Iranian counterpart in Geneva to discuss proposals for a nuclear agreement, underscoring ongoing diplomatic efforts to resolve issues related to Iran’s nuclear program.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Oman‘s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the country’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Al Busaidi, held discussions with his Iranian counterpart, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, in Geneva. The meetings focused on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s proposals aimed at reaching a nuclear agreement, as part of diplomatic endeavors to settle matters concerning Iran’s nuclear activities.

During the encounter, both sides engaged in consultations regarding the Islamic Republic of Iran’s proposals for achieving a nuclear accord. These discussions are part of the broader diplomatic efforts to resolve issues pertaining to Iran’s nuclear program.

The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in its release that Al Busaidi emphasized during the meeting that Oman supports all dialogues aimed at achieving mutually acceptable solutions. This stance highlights Oman’s mediating role in regional and international affairs.

The Ministry further indicated that the Omani Foreign Minister is expected to meet and confer with the U.S. negotiation team as part of his ongoing engagements in Geneva.
