Fire Engulfs USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier, Two Sailors Injured

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has reported a fire aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier. The statement, citing Al Jazeera, confirmed the incident.
CENTCOM asserted that the cause of the fire on the USS Gerald R. Ford was not linked to any combat activities and has since been extinguished. The command’s statement further detailed that two sailors sustained injuries during the fire, but the carrier’s propulsion system remained unaffected.
The USS Gerald R. Ford is currently operating in the Red Sea to support Operation Eager Lion.
