Kremlin Declares French Envoy’s Moscow Visit Unproductive Amid Ukraine Talks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Russian Presidential Office announced on Sunday the arrival of a French representative in Moscow as part of ongoing discussions concerning Ukraine. The visit, however, was described as unproductive by Kremlin officials.
Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, stated in an interview with the Financial Times that the French envoy’s trip to Russia, intended to address the Ukraine situation, did not lead to any positive outcomes. Peskov asserted that European countries are dedicating their efforts to persuading Kyiv to prolong the war.
The Kremlin spokesperson further elaborated that the course of events in the special operation is proceeding positively for Russia. He reiterated Moscow’s desire for a peaceful settlement of the Ukraine conflict and affirmed that Russia would continue to strive towards this objective.
