Israel Confirms Attack on Mahshahr Petrochemical Complex in Iran

The Israeli military has acknowledged conducting airstrikes targeting the Karun Petrochemical Company in Mahshahr, southern Iran, resulting in damage to the facility. No casualties have been reported.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli army has admitted to carrying out airstrikes against the Mahshahr petrochemical complex in southwestern Iran. Israeli television also claimed to have targeted 20 locations within Iran. This comes despite Israeli efforts in many instances to portray their aggressions against Iran as being directed at military targets.

Valiollah Hayati, the deputy for security and law enforcement for the Khuzestan Governorate, stated in a media interview on Monday morning that the Karun Petrochemical Company in Mahshahr was attacked by the “enemy” shortly before. He added that parts of the industrial complex sustained damage following the impact of projectiles. According to Valiollah Hayati, no fatalities or injuries were reported in the airstrike on the Karun Petrochemical Company in Mahshahr.
