Yemen Denounces Saudi Airspace Violations, Warns of Escalated Response

Yemen’s armed forces have condemned alleged violations of their airspace by Saudi warplanes, warning of a significant response if such actions persist, while also thanking Iran for its support in breaking the blockade.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, announced that Saudi enemy warplanes violated Yemeni airspace at 5:20 AM today, attempting to prevent an Iranian civilian aircraft from landing at Sanaa International Airport. The Iranian civilian plane was carrying over 200 stranded, wounded, and sick citizens.

Saree added that the Saudi enemy’s attempt to prevent the landing of the Iranian civilian aircraft was thwarted due to the interception and confrontation efforts of the Yemeni armed forces. He stated that enemy Saudi aircraft were targeted with several air defense missiles, forcing them to leave Yemeni airspace.

The spokesperson issued a stern warning to the Saudi enemy, stating that any renewed attempt to violate their airspace or any aggression against their country would be met with a widespread response, targeting vital interests and airports on land and sea.

He emphasized that Yemen will not indefinitely accept the continuation of the unjust Saudi-American siege against their nation and will undertake all legitimate measures to end it. Saree called upon the Yemeni people to continue general mobilization and combat readiness in response to the call of Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the leader of Ansarallah, expressing the readiness of the armed forces to implement any decision made by their leader.

Saree declared that their fingers are on the trigger to implement orders aimed at breaking the Saudi-American siege and expelling the occupiers. He reiterated the necessity of ending the blockade and regaining control of Sanaa International Airport.

The Yemeni armed forces spokesperson specifically praised and thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for its initiative to break the siege and facilitate the transfer of patients and official and popular delegations participating in the funeral ceremonies of the martyr Sayyid Ali Khamenei. He stressed the continuation of flights between Sanaa and Tehran, aiming to break the siege and alleviate the suffering of the oppressed Yemeni people, regardless of the consequences.
