Lebanese President Arrives in Washington for Official U.S. Visit

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, accompanied by his wife, has arrived at Andrews Air Force Base in Washington D.C. to commence an official visit to the United States. The Lebanese Presidency announced the arrival on its official X (formerly Twitter) account.
The visit is being undertaken at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump. Official engagements are scheduled to begin on the following day, with President Aoun set to meet with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Further plans include a meeting between President Aoun and President Trump at the White House on Tuesday morning. During his stay, the Lebanese President is also slated to hold discussions with members of the Senate and officials from the Trump administration.
