Iraqi Commander Declares All Routes to Karbala Secure for Arbaeen Pilgrims

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Sajjad Al-Asadi, a commander with the Hashd al-Sha’abi, emphasized that the Arbaeen Huseini (AS) commemorations are currently at their peak, with pilgrims continuing to arrive in the holy city of Karbala from both within Iraq and abroad. He noted the presence of millions of visitors from various Iraqi provinces and international countries.

Al-Asadi confirmed that the specialized security and service plan for the Arbaeen Huseini (AS) event is proceeding smoothly. He stated that all routes leading to Karbala, including border crossings and airports, are completely secure, and Hashd al-Sha’abi forces are making significant efforts to ensure the safety of the pilgrims.
