Lebanese Analyst: US Caught in War Contradictory to Its Doctrine

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a Lebanese strategic affairs analyst has emphasized that US transgressions against civilians underscore the severity of the crisis confronting the nation. This situation is exemplified by a series of high-profile resignations within the United States, including that of the Army Secretary.
The analyst further elaborated that the downing of an American MQ-9 drone by Iran signifies the latter’s advanced capabilities in air defense. He suggested that the US is attempting to portray through media propaganda that Iran’s retaliatory actions did not strike military targets.
The expert asserted that the United States has reached a point where it lacks a viable exit strategy from its conflict with Iran. Iran, in turn, has succeeded in transforming this engagement into a protracted war of attrition, directly contradicting the offensive doctrines of the United States and the West, which emphasize rapid operations and air superiority. The outcome of this conflict, he posited, should not be measured by military might alone, but by the impact each party exerts.
He concluded by stating that Iran currently influences the global economy and possesses leverage across West Asia extending to the Mediterranean Sea, demonstrating a clear understanding of how to utilize these assets.
