Iran Strikes U.S. Military Targets in Erbil, Sulaymaniyah Amid Missile and Drone Attacks

Iran launched missile and drone attacks targeting U.S. military positions in Erbil and reported explosions in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, following what it described as aggressive actions by American forces. Bahrain claimed to have intercepted Iranian drones over its territory.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Iran has conducted significant missile and drone attacks against U.S. military installations in the Iraqi city of Erbil. These actions were reportedly in retaliation for what Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) termed “aggressive actions by American forces against Iran.” The IRGC announced the destruction of a maintenance center, technical equipment depots, and a guidance system for spy balloons belonging to the U.S. Army in Erbil.
Simultaneously, Arabic media reported hearing loud explosions in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq. The Bahrain News Agency (BNA) also claimed that the country’s air defense systems intercepted and destroyed Iranian drones flying over its airspace.
