Zionist Author Warns of Israel’s Potential Collapse Before 2048
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Zionist author Dan Perry has cautioned about the existential threats and internal attrition facing the Israeli regime, predicting its potential collapse before the year 2048. Perry, a former Associated Press editor for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East and an author on Israeli affairs, expressed his concerns in an article published in the Hebrew-language newspaper Maariv.
Perry asserted that should current Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu win the upcoming elections, Israel would be propelled toward a disaster whose dangers are difficult to fully comprehend. He emphasized that the situation is more perilous than many realize, noting that occupation and wars fuel isolation, which in turn damages the economy and security. He also highlighted how internal political and financial irregularities are further weakening Israel.
The author put forth twelve proposals to temporarily manage the crises in the occupied territories, including: forming an investigative committee into the October 7th events without any considerations; agreeing to Trump’s plan for Gaza; ending Jewish terrorism in the West Bank and halting settlement expansion outside the security fence; rebuilding regional strategy and giving Lebanon and Syria another chance; replacing the futile war of attrition against Iran with a long-term strategy in cooperation with the United States and its allies; strengthening relations with Egypt and Jordan; improving ties with Arab countries; declaring a state of emergency in educational strategy; completely altering incentives and gradually phasing out child allowances from the fourth child onwards; implementing mandatory conscription and ensuring that education in Talmudic schools does not exempt eligible individuals from military service, proposing a law for universal mandatory service to be implemented cautiously and gradually; transforming the Negev and Galilee into new national projects with a radical shift in economic priorities; and prohibiting individuals accused of criminal offenses from holding the prime minister’s post, suggesting a constitutional amendment to prevent those facing serious financial corruption charges, like Benjamin Netanyahu, from becoming prime minister.
Perry concluded that if these measures are not implemented, it is unlikely that Israel will endure until its 100th anniversary in 2048.
