Taliban Vows Afghanistan’s Soil Won’t Be Used for Threats Against Other Nations

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the acting government of Afghanistan has stated that it will not permit any party to use Afghan soil to create threats against other countries. Hamdullah Fitrat, deputy spokesperson for the caretaker administration, informed RIA Novosti that Kabul is committed to preventing its territory from being exploited for hostile purposes.

Fitrat emphasized that the entire nation is under the control of the central government. He further noted that the security situation in Afghanistan has seen a significant improvement since the Taliban regained control.

This statement comes amidst ongoing tensions, particularly with Pakistan, which has accused the Afghan Taliban of interfering in its internal affairs. Islamabad contends that separatist groups and anti-Pakistan terrorist factions, such as Tehrik-i-Taliban, are allegedly supported by the Afghan Taliban and have found refuge within Afghanistan.
