Yemen Downs Four Saudi Drones in 24 Hours

Yemen’s armed forces announced the downing of four Saudi reconnaissance drones within the past 24 hours. The latest incident involved a CH-4 drone targeted over Al Jawf Governorate.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yemen‘s armed forces have successfully downed four Saudi reconnaissance drones within a 24-hour period. Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, stated that a CH-4 armed reconnaissance drone belonging to the Saudi enemy was shot down while on a hostile mission over Al Jawf Governorate.

Saree specified that this drone was the second downed within the last 12 hours and the fourth in the preceding 24-hour span, attributing the successful interceptions to appropriate weaponry. Earlier reports had confirmed the downing of a Wing Loong 2 reconnaissance drone by Yemeni forces. This drone was engaged and shot down on Monday morning while conducting hostile operations in the skies over Al Bayda Governorate, marking the third drone downed by Yemeni forces in a 24-hour timeframe.

Prior to these announcements, news sources had reported the downing of another Saudi CH-4 drone by the Yemeni armed forces. The military spokesperson confirmed on Sunday that this drone was brought down by suitable weaponry during a hostile act in the airspace of the Khab wa Ash Sha’f region in Al Jawf Governorate. He had also reported the downing of a drone over Taiz Governorate on Sunday.
