Trump to Skip Meeting with Netanyahu in New York Amid UN Summit

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a U.S. official announced that President Donald Trump is not expected to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the sidelines of the United Nations meetings in New York. The decision is attributed to a lack of time and difficulties in bilateral coordination.

The official confirmed that Netanyahu is not included in the list of individuals slated for meetings with Trump in New York. Prior to his return to Washington for discussions with the Chinese President, Trump is set to convene with leaders from the United Kingdom, Mexico, and Japan.

Reports also suggest a potential meeting between President Trump and interim Venezuelan President Delcy Rodríguez. Media outlets have indicated the possibility of Trump engaging with leaders from the Arab states of the Persian Gulf to discuss developments related to the ongoing conflict against Iran and the post-war phase.

Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is also not on the roster of leaders scheduled to meet with Trump in New York.

Earlier, the Israel Hayom newspaper had reported on a potential meeting between Netanyahu and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in New York.
