China Warns Citizens in Saudi Arabia Amid Security Alerts and Reported Explosions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia issued a statement on Saturday, reminding Chinese companies and citizens in the Kingdom to enhance their security and protection measures. The alert comes after Saudi authorities issued successive security warnings for areas including Riyadh, Jeddah, Al-Hareeq, Abha, Al-Ula, Jazan, Yanbu, Khamis Mushait, Taif, and the Farasan Islands from the evening of September 18th into the early hours of September 19th. Reports of explosions at multiple locations were also received.

The embassy reiterated its call to Chinese companies operating in Saudi Arabia to implement immediate safety protocols upon receiving any warnings, as per established directives. The statement specifically advised against photographing military operations and disseminating unverified information. Travelers planning air journeys were encouraged to maintain continuous communication with airlines to prevent disruptions to their travel plans.

This development occurs amidst ongoing military actions by Yemeni forces, who have reportedly targeted key military installations within Saudi Arabia in defense against Saudi aggressors.
