Moscow Reports Over 2,000 Drone Strikes in One Week

Moscow has reported a significant surge in aerial activity, with over 2,000 drones targeting the region in the past week, according to city officials. Many were intercepted by air defenses far from the capital.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin announced on Saturday that his city had experienced more than 2,000 drone attacks in the past week. In a statement, Sobyanin detailed that between September 12 and September 19, a total of 2,022 drones were launched towards the Moscow region. He further stated that the majority of these drones were neutralized by air defense systems at significant distances from the city. Additionally, 186 drones were destroyed as they approached Moscow.
