Yemen Strikes Sensitive Riyadh Facilities and Aramco in Yanbu
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yemen‘s armed forces have announced a significant operation deep within Saudi Arabia. In a statement read by Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, it was stated that the operations were carried out in response to what they termed ‘great slander’ accusing Yemen of targeting Mecca, and in defense against perceived insults from Saudi Arabia. Furthermore, the strikes are a reaction to continuous aggression by the Saudi enemy against the Yemeni people, which has reportedly involved 732 airstrikes launched from Khamis Mushait and Taif air bases, resulting in civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure. The statement also cited Saudi efforts to target the capital, Sanaa, in a manner described as ISIS-like, through attempts to create explosions targeting civilians indiscriminately.
In response to these provocations, the Yemeni armed forces conducted two key military operations utilizing multiple ballistic missiles and drones. The first operation targeted sensitive sites within Riyadh, the Saudi capital. The second operation struck the Aramco company in Yanbu. Both operations were reported as successful, leading to widespread fires at the targeted locations.
The Yemeni armed forces emphasized that false propaganda disseminated by Saudi enemy media, alleging that they target civilians, is baseless. Any such claims are attributed to unsuccessful interceptions by Saudi defensive systems. The statement concluded by asserting that the Yemeni armed forces will continue to enforce a policy of siege for siege and escalation for escalation, targeting Saudi military gatherings until the aggression ceases and the siege on Yemen is lifted.
